Formally trained in classic Swiss Graphic Design, I earned my design degree at the amazing California College of the Arts in San Francisco, CA as well as a degree in Secondary Art Education. I taught art and crafts at Reynolds High School near Portland, Oregon for 3 years before launching Pelican in 1994.
